Accenter Tutorial - Formatting Text

Text Formatting

This tutorial will spend very little time on formatting text, as Accenter behaves much the same as WordPad, or any other standard Windows word processor. The following formatting options can be accessed from the Accenter toolbar:

Font size: select a number from the drop down list
Font name: select a font name from the drop down list
Font options: select bold, italic, underline by clicking the appropriate buttons.
Font color: the font color selector is located next to the font size drop down list.

Alignment: select left, center, or right, by clicking the appropriate button
Bulleting: choose bulleted or no bullets
Indentation: Accenter indents in increments of .5 inches. Click the indent and outdent buttons to change the amount of indentation.

Formatting not available with Accenter

There are some word processing features not available with Accenter. If you need advanced formatting options, you should type all your text with Accenter, and then use another word processor to do the formatting. In general, the features ont supported by Accenter are the features not supported by the rich text format (*.rtf). The following features are not supported: tables, columns, html links.
