Transferring from another word processor

There may be occasions when you want to transfer text from another word processor into Accenter. When you do this, remember that some formatting may be lost (ie, pictures, tables). There are two ways to import a document into Accenter.

Save the document

Using your word processor's 'Save as' feature, select the file type as 'Rich Text Format (*.rtf)'. You must use this format, or Accenter will not read your document.

Now use Accenter to load the document.

Use the clipboard

Select the text you want to import, and copy it onto the clipboard using your word processor's 'Copy' command. Now use 'Paste' from the 'Edit' menu of Accenter to paste the text into your document.
